Southampton launch #EarnYourStripes social media campaign

Southampton Football Club's media department have launched a social media campaign labelled '#EarnYourStripes'.

The campaign gives supporters the chance to win a new 2014-15 Saints home shirt if they find one of the hundreds of footballs that were placed around the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.

After finding one of the #EarnYourStripes footballs, the supporters must take a selfie and tweet the club's Twitter account before being entered into the draw to pick out 10 winners.

The campaign was launched after the club's decision to bring back the traditional Southampton stripes on the forthcoming season's home shirt.
