Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton reads out 'mean tweets' during his stint as a BT Sport guest.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton recently decided to face up to a number of critical tweets aimed in his direction while on BT Sport.

The 32-year-old is known for airing his views on social media, and as well as receiving a number of comments from fans, the footballer tends to be subjected to less friendly messages on Twitter.

During his recent guest stint on BT Sport, Barton took part in the broadcaster's 'mean tweets' feature, which involves footballers reading through a list of negative messages.

Barton read out numerous tweets, some of which criticised his looks, while others questioned his captaincy style.
