Prostitute claims she bedded Premier League footballer

A prostitute has revealed that she once had sex with a Premier League footballer, who was allegedly a regular visitor to her brothel The Toucan.

Vivien Ward, 66, who married the late West Ham United player Billy Walden, has made the claims in her autobiography Eating From The Cherry Tree.

According to the Daily Star, the memoirs detail that Ward was once offered £50,000 by a national newspaper to hand over CCTV footage of the player entering and leaving the venue in Manchester.

However, Ward claims in the book that instead of complying, she told the married footballer's manager, who opted to keep the sportsman's trysts with Ward and a number of her 28 workers quiet.

Ward has not named the footballer in her book.
