A female Belgium World Cup fan has reportedly been handed a modelling contract with L'Oreal after she was plucked from the crowd during the tournament in Brazil.
Seventeen-year-old Axelle Despiegelaere attracted the attention of photographers when she was spotted cheering on Belgium during their 1-0 win over Russia last month.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the teenager could land herself in hot water after a photograph of her posing with a rifle and a dead animal in Africa spread on social media.
It has been reported that Axelle has written on her Facebook page: "Hunting is not a matter of life or death. It's much more important than that."
French cosmetics company L'Oreal, who back animal welfare, have not commented on the image.
