Nicklas Bendtner 'becomes Lord after land bought for him in Scotland'

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is reportedly named a Lord after a piece of land in Scotland was bought for him by a Danish newspaper.

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has reportedly become a Lord after land was bought for him in Scotland.

The 27-year-old, who joined Wolfsburg in 2014 following a nine-year spell with the Gunners, has had one square foot of land in Glencoe Wood bought for him by Danish magazine SE Og HOR.

Bendtner's agent Elisa Lykke is quoted as saying: "We have seen it, and Nicklas thinks it's a fun gimmick. We have been asked to be sent a receipt and we are pleased that it supports a nature conservation area."

The Denmark international earned the 'Lord' nickname due to his antics off the pitch during his time with Gunners.
