Wigan Athletic, Doncaster Rovers chase El Hadji Diouf

Senegalese striker El Hadji Diouf is being tracked by Wigan Athletic and Doncaster Rovers, according to BBC Sport.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean decided to cancel the player's contract earlier this month.

Diouf, who has also played for Liverpool and Glasgow Rangers, has been training with League One side Preston North End.

However, North End boss Phil Brown recently revealed that the club would not be able to afford Diouf's financial demands.
