Premier League top scorers of all time: Where do Erling Haaland, Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry rank?

Top Premier League goalscorers of all time

The range of players who can proudly boast to have scored a goal in the Premier League is extraordinary.

From Ballon d'Or winners such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric, to iconic goalkeepers including Peter Schmeichel and Paul Robinson, all manner of athletes have made the net bulge in one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.

Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, no fewer than 35,478 goals have been scored in Premier League history since the division's inception in 1992, and the all-time record holder has been responsible for fewer than 1% of them.

Nevertheless, Alan Shearer's total of 260 has been unmatched for over two decades, thanks in no small part to Harry Kane abandoning - or at least pausing - his pursuit of individual supremacy to target team glory with Bayern Munich.

However, Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland is now hunting down the Geordie icon at the top of the standings, but which other players can proudly claim to have struck a century of goals in the competition?

Here, Sports Mole provides a comprehensive list of the highest Premier League scorers of all time, while you can also filter by overall goal involvements, goals per game and hat-tricks in the interactive table below.
