Manchester City make Daniel Agger bid?

Manchester City have reportedly made an official offer for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

The 27-year-old is said to be keen to depart Anfield this summer, with Real Madrid and Barcelona also credited with an interest in him.

Liverpool are adamant that they want to keep Agger, however City have now tested the Merseysiders' resolve by lodging a £13m bid for the player, according to The Mirror.

Agger has made 119 Premier League appearances during six and a half seasons in England.
