Liverpool determined to tie down Daniel Agger to new contract?

Liverpool adamant on keeping Agger?

Liverpool will reportedly refuse any offers for defender Daniel Agger, amid interest from Barcelona.

It is believed that the former La Liga champions are considering a move for the Denmark international, who impressed during this summer's Euro 2012 campaign.

Unlike the Reds' stance on Andy Carroll, the Merseyside club are not prepared to let go of the 27-year-old, and new boss Brendan Rodgers is confident that the centre-back will pen a new contract at Anfield, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.

Agger currently has two years left on his current deal with the Premier League outfit.
