Team News: Damien Delaney given Crystal Palace debut

Delaney given Palace debut

New Crystal Palace centre-back Damien Delaney has been handed a debut for the Eagles against Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.

Fellow new signing David Goodwillie is named on the bench as Glenn Murray leads the line for the home side, who are pointless after three games of the season.

Visiting Wednesday make a number of changes from the midweek toppling of Fulham, with on-loan Barcelona youngster Rodri getting the nod ahead of Gary Madine up front.

Palace: Speroni; Blake-Ramage-Delaney-Parr; Jedinak, Garvan; Zaha, Moritz, Bolasie; Murray

Wednesday: Kirkland; Buxton, Llera, Beevers, Jones; Semedo, McCabe, O'Grady, Rodri; J.Johnson, Antonio
