The future of Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana has seemingly been left up in the air after he failed to complete one of multiple deadline-day opportunities.
While the Blues were primarily focused on facilitating Nicolas Jackson's transfer to Bayern Munich given the money involved, the club were also eager to find solutions for many of their exiled players.
Axel Disasi and Raheem Sterling have remained at Stamford Bridge having failed to finalise a move to one of several Premier League teams who held an interest.
Datro Fofana is another Chelsea outcast who needs a fresh start having not represented the first team since 2022-23 and not played competitive football since December due to a knee injury.
However, as per The Mirror and other outlets, the Ivorian has been left with limited options after missing out on two specific clubs.

The report acknowledges that Datro Fofana turned down the opportunity to make the switch to Celtic on deadline day.
That was allegedly in favour of taking an opportunity at Charlton Athletic, who seemingly presented a better proposal than Preston North End.
According to the report, though, Charlton failed to submit the necessary documents in time to get what would been a loan deal over the line.
Given Charlton's stature in the Championship, it would have represented a major piece of business for the Addicks, but the 22-year-old is now left in limbo for the time being
What transfer windows remain open?
All is not lost for Datro Fofana, however, with clubs from a number of notable nations still able to do business.
Teams in the Dutch Eredivisie have until the end of Tuesday, while Turkish sides can sign players up until September 12.
Hungarian, Austrian and Croatian clubs have until later this week to act, with Belgian and Swiss outfits having until the start of next week.
The Greek transfer window does not close for another 11 days, and Portuguese clubs have all the way until September 15.
