Chelsea's top 10 most expensive signings in their history

Failing to qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League reduced the chances of Chelsea breaking their transfer record during the 2026 summer window.

However, it was announced in July that the Blues had signed England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa in a £117m deal.

While BlueCo will inevitably now look to facilitate a number of sales in order to comply with the relevant financial regulations, shelling out that amount of money for Rogers is a major statement of intent.

The development has led to Joao Pedro, last season's top goalscorer and arguably best performer, dropping outside of the top 10 in this list.
