Thursday's Europa League predictions including Celtic vs. Jablonec

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Thursday's Europa League fixtures, including Celtic vs. Jablonec.

Alashkert vs. Kairat (Thursday, 4.00pm)

World Cup general image football

It is all to play for heading into the second leg of the Europa League third qualifying round clash between Alashkert FC and Kairat.

Neither side could find a way through in a goalless opening 90 minutes to the tie, but something has to give at Stadion Nairi on Thursday evening.

We say: Alashkert FC 0-1 Kairat (Kairat win 1-0 on aggregate)

Another tight contest can be expected in this second leg, which we expect to be decided by the single goal.

Kairat have defeated Red Star Belgrade this season - albeit before being thumped in the second leg - and should they replicate that performance it may be them who edge though.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

HJK Helsinki vs. Neftchi Baku (Thursday, 5.00pm)

HJK Helsinki and Neftchi Baku head into the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie locked at 2-2 on aggregate.

Whoever prevails from this encounter will set up a clash with Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the playoff round.

We say: HJK Helsinki 2-1 Neftchi Baku (4-3 to Helsinki on aggregate)

Despite their impressive record over the past few months, HJK Helsinki has not necessarily been convincing in their recent games.

Nevertheless, we are predicting a narrow win for the Finns, moving them a step closer to building on the national team's progression over the past 18 months.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Zalgiris vs. NS Mura (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Following a drab goalless stalemate in the first leg of their Europa League third round qualifying battle, FK Zalgiris and NS Mura reconvene at the LFF Stadionas for Thursday's second leg.

With it all to play for, the victors of this tie will book their place in the playoff round against Sturm Graz for the chance to advance to the group stage.

We say: FK Zalgiris 2-0 NS Mura (2-0 to Zalgiris on aggregate)

The first leg was as tight an affair as many would have expected, but Zalgiris are the ones with the wind in their sails from a far superior domestic record.

With Mura potentially set to field a more attack-minded setup in the hope of out-scoring their hosts, Zalgiris's more potent forwards ought to take advantage and fire the A Lyga champions to the playoff round for the first time ever.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Anorthosis vs. Rapid Vienna (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Anorthosis Famagusta have it all to do on Thursday evening in the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie with Rapid Vienna.

The Cypriot side fell to a 3-0 loss in last week's first leg and now require something close to a miracle at the Antonis Papadopoulos if they are to stay in the competition.

We say: Anorthosis Famagusta 1-3 Rapid Vienna (Rapid win 6-1 on aggregate)

All the hard work was done in the first leg for Rapid, who barring a calamitous collapse in Cyprus on Thursday will be one step away from the Europa League group stage.

An early goal for Famagusta may make things interesting, but we cannot see them keeping their opponents quiet in what should be a routine away win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

St Johnstone vs. Galatasaray (Thursday, 7.00pm)

Having claimed an impressive 1-1 draw on Turkish soil in the first leg, St Johnstone prepare to welcome Galatasaray to McDiarmid Park for the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.

With the two-legged affair delicately poised ahead of Thursday's game, the winners of this contest are vying to meet Danish side Randers in the playoff round.

We say: St Johnstone 1-3 Galatasaray (Galatasaray win 4-2 on aggregate)

With the roar of the McDiarmid Park faithful behind them, St Johnstone ought to play without fear in their bid for a slice of history, and the absence of Muslera could prove key.

Terim is under pressure to find a winning formula after three disappointing European encounters so far, but the visitors still hold the favourites tag and will hope to see their celebrated names turn up the heat when it matters most, so we see St Johnstone just falling short on home soil.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Celtic vs. Jablonec (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Celtic will be looking to make it three wins from three in all competitions when they take on FK Baumit Jablonec in the second leg of their Europa League third-round qualifier on Thursday.

The Hoops take a two-goal advantage into the clash at Parkhead, with a playoff tie in the next round against AZ Alkmaar awaiting the winner.

We say: Celtic 3-0 FK Baumit Jablonec

The first goal on Thursday could be crucial in this tie; if Celtic score the opener it should be enough to confirm their place in the next round, but if Jablonec find the net first, a nervy contest could be on the cards for the Hoops.

However, we feel that Postacoglou's men will have no problems in claiming a comfortable win, with more goals set to be celebrated at Parkhead.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
