Arsene Wenger unsure on duration of Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla absences

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits that he does not know when Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla will be fit to return from their respective injuries.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has conceded that he is unsure on how long his side will be without Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla.

The Chilean sustained a hamstring injury during the Gunners' 1-1 draw against Norwich City last week, while Cazorla struggled with a knee problem at Carrow Road.

Reports suggested that the Spaniard could be sidelined for three months while Sanchez could be out for the rest of December, but Wenger has revealed that he does not know the length of the duo's absences.

"At the moment on Alexis, Santi and Mikel [Arteta], we don't know how long they will be out for," Wenger told the club's website.

Arsenal play Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
