Jacobs completes permanent Wolves move

Michael Jacobs has left Derby County to join Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who had been on loan at Molineux since November, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Wolves.

The League One side also have the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

"I feel like I've rekindled my love for football again which maybe I'd lost a little over the last six to eight months," Jacobs told the club website.

"Being given an opportunity here has helped me and I feel I'm playing with a lot more confidence."

Jacobs joined Derby from Northampton Town in the summer of 2012, signing a three-year contract at Pride Park and making 41 appearances in all competitions last season.
