Jacobs joins Wolves on loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed winger Michael Jacobs on loan from Derby County until the New Year.

Jacobs, 22, has failed to work himself into new Rams manager Steve McClaren's plans and will head to Molineux for first-team football until January 2, 2014.

He will join up with his new club later today and be available for selection for their next game against Notts County on Saturday, subject to clearance from the Football League.

Jacobs joined Derby from Northampton Town in the summer of 2012, signing a three-year contract at Pride Park and making 41 appearances in all competitions last season.
