Curbishley admits Wolves interest

Alan Curbishley has expressed an interest in becoming the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 54-year-old has been out of work since leaving West Ham United in 2008, but he has now revealed that he is ready to make a return to management.

"If I get the phonecall then I''ll talk to [Steve Morgan, Wolves owner]," Curbishley told Sky Sports News.

"I've been favourite for things before and nothing's happened so we'll see what happens."

Wolves are currently without a manager, having opted to sack Mick McCarthy this morning.
