Andre Wisdom poised for Wigan Athletic loan move?

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is poised to join Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season, according to a report.

Manager Brendan Rodgers wants the England Under-21 international to gain experience in the Championship and in the Europa League with the Latics.

Wigan were hopeful of securing a deal for Wisdom before the start of the season but Rodgers refused to give the go ahead until he signed Aly Cissokho from Valencia, reports The Mirror.

The 20-year-old has made 20 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions since making his debut last season.
