Diego Lopez has completed a move from Villarreal to Sevilla on a five-year contract.
The 30-year-old has departed the club following their relegation from La Liga, and is expected to be just one of a number of players to leave this summer.
The Spaniard joined Villarreal from Real Madrid in 2007, and made 171 league appearances for the Yellow Submarine.
Lopez has one international cap to his name.
