Sevilla capture Yevhen Konoplyanka on free transfer

Sevilla have completed the signing of Yevhen Konoplyanka on a free transfer from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

The Europa League winners, who beat Dnipro in last month's final, had a fee for the 25-year-old accepted earlier this week.

Having now passed a medical with Sevilla and agreed personal terms, the Ukrainian, a former target for Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal in Andalusia.

Konoplyanka netted eight times last term as Dnipro finished third in their domestic league, as well as making waves in Europe.
