Two sides separated by just one point and one place in the bottom half of the Primeira Liga standings go head to head on Sunday when Rio Ave play host to Santa Clara at the Estadio dos Arcos.

Os Acoreanos head into the weekend unbeaten in each of their last five games against the home side since January 2020 and will look to continue in the same vein.

Pacos de Ferreira vs. Arouca (Sunday, 6.00pm)

Pacos de Ferreira will be looking to pick up their first win of the new Primeira Liga campaign when they play host to Arouca at the Capital do Movel Municipal Stadium on Sunday.

The Arouquenses will set out to get one over the home side, having failed to win any of the last six meetings between the teams since November 2016.

Seeking to pick up a fourth win on the bounce for the first time since August 2021, Boavista square off against Famalicao at the Estadio Municipal de Famalicao on Sunday.

Joao Pedro Sousa's side, on the other hand, head into the weekend on a run of three consecutive defeats and will be looking to end this dry spell.

Boavista have enjoyed a sensational start to the season, claiming five wins from their opening seven games. Os Axadrezados square off against an out-of-sorts Famalicao side who have lost each of their last three games and we anticipate they will come away with all three points once again.
