Kevin Doyle and Mark Wilson withdraw from the Republic of Ireland squad to play Serbia

Doyle, Wilson out of Ireland squad

Kevin Doyle and Mark Wilson have been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland squad to play Serbia.

Doyle suffered a bruised leg in Wolverhampton Wanderers' match with Aldershot Town.

Wilson had looked set for a starting role in Belgrade but he has been forced to withdraw from the squad with a virus.

Wednesday's match will be the Republic of Ireland's first since their disappointing Euro 2012 campaign.
