Laurent Blanc pleased with Paris Saint-Germain performance

Laurent Blanc says that Paris Saint-Germain deserved their 3-1 win at Rennes this afternoon.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has declared himself happy with his team's performance in today's 3-1 win over Rennes.

Thiago Motta, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani scored the goals that helped Les Parisiens maintain top spot in Ligue 1, with the hosts' only reply coming from Romain Alessandrini.

"This is an important victory and deserved I think," Blanc told reporters.

"We scored three goals away. When you achieve the right ingredients like tonight, it is hard to beat.

"We played well. The team showed great control for almost the entire match. We had good pressing and made the most of our opportunities."

PSG are two points clear of second-placed AS Monaco.
