Newcastle United are understood to have agreed a move for Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
The France international, who will be a free agent in the summer, is allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement from January 1.
The 23-year-old has now chosen the Magpies as his destination for next season, according to The Sun.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were also thought to be interested in Sissoko.
