Ranger future decided this week

Nile Ranger's Newcastle United future will be decided this week, according to The Mirror.

The 20-year-old was arrested last week for being drunk and disorderly and will face magistrates on Thursday, November 17.

It has been reported that United owner Mike Ashley and managing director Derek Llambias will decide on the striker's fate after they return from a trip to Barbados.

Ranger is due in court on a further two occasions this month for alleged assault and drink-driving offences.
