Newcastle United midfielder Gabriel Obertan has vowed to improve after a disappointing first campaign with the club.
The 23-year-old was blighted by injuries in the second half of the season, but he believes that he will prove his worth next season.
"I am looking forward to finding some rhythm and coming back fully fit. I showed last season I can play different positions when needed. But you just want to play your part no matter where that is. You are always looking to improve and catch the manager's eye," he told Sky Sports News.
Obertan joined the Magpies from Manchester United last summer.
