Saturday's Major League Soccer predictions including Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy.

NY City vs. Montreal (Saturday, 6.00pm)

The defending champions of Major League Soccer will open their home campaign on Saturday at Yankee Stadium versus CF Montreal.

New York City FC are scoreless after two regular-season affairs, with only a single point thus far, while Montreal are one of only four sides in MLS who have yet to earn a point this year, dropping a 2-1 decision last weekend to the Philadelphia Union.

We say: New York City FC 2-0 CF Montreal

Both sides have struggled in front of goal in this domestic campaign, but New York have shown more promise in the Champions League and MLS, while Montreal are still heavily dependent on Mihailovic.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Columbus Crew vs. Toronto (Saturday, 6.30pm)

The Columbus Crew have an opportunity to extend their unbeaten run at Lower.com Field to six consecutive games in all competitions when they host Toronto on Saturday.

Both teams struggled defensively in Week Two of the Major League Soccer regular season, as the Crew squandered a late lead to the San Jose Earthquakes in a 3-3 draw, while The Reds conceded four first-half goals against the New York Red Bulls, losing 4-1.

We say: Columbus Crew 3-1 Toronto

The Crew seem to have rediscovered their confidence in front of goal, while Toronto are still learning how to remain consistent at the back, and we expect the Columbus firepower to overwhelm The Reds in this game.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Inter Miami vs. Los Angeles (Saturday, 6.30pm)

Inter Miami go in search of their first victory of the new Major League Soccer season when they welcome Los Angeles FC to the DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday.

On the other hand, the away side will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend having seen their 100% record come to an end last time out.

We say: Inter Miami 1-2 Los Angeles FC

With a plethora of attacking talent on display, we anticipate an open and entertaining game with goals at both ends. That said, we are also tipping Los Angeles FC to carry the day, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Seattle vs. LA Galaxy (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Seattle Sounders will be hoping to secure their first victory of the 2022 MLS campaign on Saturday when they welcome Los Angeles Galaxy to Lumen Field.

The visitors have kickstarted the season in a much stronger fashion, winning consecutive matches, which has left them in second place in the Western Conference so far.

We say: Seattle Sounders 1-2 Los Angeles Galaxy

Seattle Sounders may have been the stronger team last season, but so far their league campaign has gotten off to a rocky start, which LA Galaxy will be looking to take advantage of.

The poor performances in front of goal could prove to be a problem for the hosts, and this is why they may find themselves still without a point on the table after Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Houston vs. Vancouver (Saturday, 11.30pm)

Two teams searching for their first win of the new Major League Soccer regular season will face each other on Saturday as the Houston Dynamo host the Vancouver Whitecaps at PNC Stadium.

Neither side have found the back of the net thus far, as Orange Crush dropped a 1-0 decision to Sporting Kansas City last week, while The Caps played to a 0-0 draw in their home opener versus New York City FC.

We say: Houston Dynamo 0-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

This contest will feature two of seven MLS sides who have yet to find the back of the net in 2022, and it could be another conservative match with both squads looking tentative in the early stages of this campaign.

For Houston, the arrival of Herrera cannot come soon enough, and while the Caps have not beaten the Dynamo on the road since 2018, they have shown more attacking intent and more chemistry than Orange Crush, so we expect that will be enough to earn them three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
