Frank Lampard ruled out of New England Revolution clash

Frank Lampard has been ruled out of New York City FC's MLS match against the New England Revolution this weekend.

The 37-year-old missed his team's 4-4 draw against Toronto last week with a calf problem that has not yet fully healed.

The midfielder has returned to training with New York in recent days, but he is expected to make his debut for the club against Orlando City on July 26.

Andrea Pirlo has also been tipped to make his first appearance for the club against Orlando.
