Jose Goncalves continues the Revolution for New England

Former Hearts defender Jose Goncalves scored the only goal of the game as New England Revolution won at Montreal Impact in the MLS on Saturday.

The Portuguese centre-half found the net on 31 minutes when he fired home from close range after Diego Fagundez's low cross had somehow evaded a sea of defenders in a crowded penalty area.

New England return to the MLS playoff places after extending their unbeaten streak to four matches.

Meanwhile, Montreal have now lost five of their last seven outings in all competitions.
