Jose Anigo demands Marseille aggression

Jose Anigo is not worried by Marseille's current situation after they slipped to ninth in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Jose Anigo has told his Marseille players that they need to be more aggressive following their loss to AS Monaco on Sunday.

Les Phoceens were beaten 2-0 at Stade Louis II at the weekend, which leaves them ninth in Ligue 1, but Anigo isn't concerned by their recent form.

"We're far from overjoyed, obviously," Anigo said in his press conference. "We're going through a tough patch but we've had worse here at Marseille, and not that long ago.

"But I know we'll bounce back. It wasn't just our defending; we lacked aggression. We need to rediscover our confidence and if we can win our match in hand [their postponed Week 21 clash with Valenciennnes], we can get back into the mix."

Marseille host Toulouse in their next match on Sunday.
