Report: Manchester United want Chelsea youngster Reece James

A report claims that Manchester United want to poach 16-year-old Englishman Reece James from the Chelsea academy.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea youngster Reece James.

The 16-year-old, who can operate either in defence or midfield, has been with the Chelsea academy since the age of six and has trained with the club's first team this season.

Chelsea are believed to be desperate to keep hold of the teenager, but according to the Daily Mail, Man United boss Jose Mourinho wants to bring the talented youngster to Old Trafford.

German outfit RB Leipzig, who are currently level on points with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga, have also been credited with an interest in the Chelsea academy product.
