Pogba 'to lower wage demands to secure Madrid move'

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly prepared to lower his wage demands in order to complete a move to Real Madrid in this summer's transfer window.

Last week, it was claimed that Pogba was in danger of pricing himself out of a summer switch to Madrid due to the fact that he wanted a £13m-a-year deal at the Bernabeu.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the 26-year-old is prepared to take a pay-cut to move to the European champions, who are expected to spend heavily ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Pogba, who has previously called Los Blancos 'a dream club', scored 16 times and registered 11 assists in 47 appearances for United in all competitions during the 2018-19 season.

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the France international, although Madrid are believed to be in the driving seat for the 2018 World Cup winner.
