Pogba demands 'holding up Real Madrid move'

Paul Pogba is reportedly in danger of pricing himself out of a move to Real Madrid this summer.

The 2018 World Cup winner continues to be linked with a switch away from Manchester United, and Madrid are believed to have submitted a huge £121m offer for the France international in recent days.

However, according to L'Equipe, Pogba has made it clear that he wants a £13m-a-year deal to move to the Bernabeu, which the European champions are not prepared to meet.

The 26-year-old ended the 2018-19 campaign with an impressive 16 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances for the 20-time English champions in all competitions.

Pogba's form tailed off in the latter stages of the season, though, amid suggestions that the midfielder's head had been turned by the constant transfer speculation.

The 66-time international has previously called Los Blancos 'a dream club'.
