A report claims that Newcastle United and Leicester City are looking into signing Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United, while Everton are also interested.

Newcastle United and Leicester City are reportedly in the running to sign Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United ahead of next season.

The 20-year-old was left frustrated by Jose Mourinho last term, starting 17 times in the top flight and often away from his favoured centre-forward position.

According to the Daily Mail, there is a small chance that the England international - part of the Three Lions' 23-man squad for the World Cup finals - could be allowed out on loan this summer.

Newcastle and Leicester are rumoured to be two clubs keeping an eye on developments, while Everton may also make an approach if the striker is temporarily moved on by Mourinho.

Rashford played a direct part in 12 Premier League goals last season and was also on target in England's 2-0 win over Costa Rica on Thursday evening.
