Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian says he is "happy" that Juventus are interested in signing him during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has said that he has no regrets over a switch to Old Trafford but admits that he is thinking about a return to Italy.

Darmian has been restricted to just eight starts and four substitute outings in all competitions this season, and it appears increasingly likely that the full-back will leave the North-West of England in the summer.

Juventus have been linked with a move for Darmian and the Italy international has acknowledged that he is "happy" to be associated with the Serie A giants.

The 28-year-old told Sky Sport Italia: "I'm living a great experience here in England. I'd say yes to United again. It's one of the best clubs in the world. I won several trophies here but I miss Italy. Let's see what happens at the end of the season.

"Now the priority is to end the season in the best way possible. Juventus? I have not decided yet. I am happy Juventus are interested in me. Juve are a great club and I am happy for that."

Darmian has just over one year remaining on his contract at United.
