Report: Matteo Darmian agrees to Juventus switch

Matteo Darmian reportedly informs Juventus that he is open to joining from Manchester United in the summer after failing to win over boss Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has all but finalised his summer switch to Juventus, according to a report.

The Italy international's exit is said to have been sanctioned by Jose Mourinho, who has used the full-back for a combined 853 minutes this season.

Calciomercato suggests that Darmian, with just one start to his name in 2018, has informed the Turin club that he is open to a move.

Juve will now wait for the summer window to open before making a formal offer, as they seek a versatile option to slot into their backline.

A separate report claims that Mourinho has already identified Valencia full-back Jose Luis Gaya as a replacement for Darmian.
