Ryan Giggs: 'Wayne Rooney not quite recovered'

Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs reveals that Wayne Rooney remains an injury doubt for Tuesday's visit of Hull City.

Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs has revealed that Wayne Rooney remains doubtful for Tuesday's visit of Hull City in the Premier League.

The striker missed United's 1-0 defeat at home to Sunderland on Saturday with a groin problem.

Giggs has now suggested that the 28-year-old could stay on the sidelines when Hull make the trip to Old Trafford tomorrow night.

"He's not quite recovered," the Welshman told MUTV. "We'll monitor him."

Rooney has scored 19 goals in 40 appearances for the Red Devils so far this season.
