Radamel Falcao to play for Manchester United Under-21s

Radamel Falcao lines up for Manchester United's Under-21s after being an unused substitute during the team's FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Arsenal.

Radamel Falcao has been named in the starting lineup for Manchester United's Under-21s game against Tottenham Hotspur tonight.

The Colombian striker has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Old Trafford following his loan move from Monaco at the start of the season.

The 29-year-old has scored four goals in 20 games for the Red Devils during the current campaign.

Falcao was named on the bench for United's FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Arsenal last night, but manager Louis van Gaal chose not to use him.

Van Gaal claimed after the match that he is pleased to have the forward in his squad.
