Manchester United's David de Gea: 'Paul Pogba is something special'

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea says that Paul Pogba looks as though he "never left the club".

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has claimed that Paul Pogba acts as if he "never left the club".

The France international became the most expensive footballer in history after sealing an £89m switch to United from Juventus earlier this month.

The 23-year-old spent three years at United before leaving to join Juve in 2012 on a free transfer,

"I think he is something special," De Gea told MUTV. "Signing for this club, he played here before and I think he's home.

"He feels like this is his home and we are all really, really happy to have him again in Manchester. He's now with all his friends again in Manchester, with everyone here, and he looks like he never left the club. He's really good for the team.

"I think it's good to have a mix of young players and experienced players. That's what we have in the team now and I think it's really good for the young players. They have done really well, they train very hard and it's really good to see."

Pogba was suspended for United's Premier League opener against Bournemouth, but could make his debut in Friday's clash against Southampton.
