Man United injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Manchester United will be bidding to return to winning ways when they travel to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils suffered a 3-0 loss at home to Bournemouth in the league last weekend, with the result leaving them in sixth position in the table on 27 points.

Erik ten Hag's side were then beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday, which eliminated them from Europe altogether this season.

Casemiro

Casemiro picked up a hamstring injury during the EFL Cup defeat to Newcastle United in November, but the experienced midfielder is now back in training and is expected to return in early 2024.


Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia is also still on the sidelines due to a knee injury which has required two separate operations, but he is due to return to action in the early stages of 2024.


Lisandro Martinez

Status: Out Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: Unknown

Martinez is recovering from a second operation on a foot injury which he initially suffered in April, and he is also set to return early next year, having recently stepped up his rehabilitation.


Amad Diallo

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Amad remains unavailable for selection due to a knee injury that he picked up during pre-season, but he is another player to recently return to first-team training at Carrington.


Harry Maguire

Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: Unknown

Maguire had to be replaced in the first half of the clash with Bayern due to a groin problem, and he is set to miss at least his side's next two matches.


Christian Eriksen

Eriksen remains unavailable for Man United due to the knee problem that he picked up in the win over Luton Town before the November international break.
