Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart may have given a clear indication that he is leaving the club in the wake of his side's 1-0 win over Steaua Bucuresti.
The stopper applauded all four corners of the Etihad Stadium and shook hands with each of his teammates after the full-time whistle in what has been interpreted as a farewell.
Hart, who made his first start of the season in the Champions League fixture, has been linked with the Etihad exit since losing his place in the City first team to Wilfredo Caballero.
Pep Guardiola's decision to move for Barcelona shot-stopper Claudio Bravo, who is said to be in Manchester for a medical with the club, has only fuelled rumours that Hart is on his way.
"That was a really special night for me. We all know there is a situation going on. This is a special place for me, I've made no secret of that. Situations occur in football. We are men and we get on with it," Hart told BT Sport after the game.
"We have got a top manager and he is going to have his opinion on things. Tonight I played and enjoyed every moment of it. The [situation] is what it is."
Sevilla have emerged as a frontrunners to sign Hart after Everton reportedly dropped out of the running.
