Team News: Fernandinho to make Manchester City debut

Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho will make his debut for the Premier League outfit in their pre-season clash with Supersport United on Sunday.

The 28-year-old, who joined the English club from Shakhtar Donetsk this summer, has been selected in the City side for their first pre-season fixture in South Africa.

The match will also see Manuel Pellegrini take charge of his new team for the first time since replacing Italian Roberto Mancini at the helm.

Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany and Samir Nasri are also among the starters this afternoon.
