Vincent Kompany, Frank Lampard fit for Manchester City

Manchester City duo Vincent Kompany and Frank Lampard will feature in their side's squad for the Premier League match with Swansea City on Saturday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that both Vincent Kompany and Frank Lampard are fit to return to the club's first-team squad for the game with Swansea City.

Club captain Kompany missed City's 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers with a minor knock but he is expected to start at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Lampard made his return from injury as a substitute against QPR and the veteran could be in contention to start against Swansea after remaining at the club during the international break.

However, City will be without David Silva, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov as they look to make ground on league leaders Chelsea.
