David Silva has claimed that Manchester City's team spirit could not be better despite a training ground bust-up last week.
Mario Balotelli and Micah Richards clashed during a training session at City's Carrington base last weekend.
Silva insists that these incidents show that Roberto Mancini's side have a fighting spirit which will help them during the title race.
The Spanish international said: "Stuff like that, you can always turn into a positive for the team."
The Citizens responded to the bad press received last week by beating Arsenal 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
"Everyone is going at it 100% in training, and stuff like that can happen," he added.
Manchester City currently lead the Barclays Premier League by two points and host in-form Stoke City on Wednesday evening.
