Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Fulham.

Manchester City should have Riyad Mahrez back at their disposal for Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Fulham at the Etihad Stadium.

The former Leicester City man was granted a week off following Algeria's exit from the Africa Cup of Nations, but Pep Guardiola will expect to welcome him back to the fold here.

Cole Palmer is out and Oleksandr Zinchenko is doubtful, though, while Ederson and Gabriel Jesus are unlikely to be risked from the start following their late returns from Brazil duty.

Zack Steffen has been pictured in training with the Citizens after missing the USA's most recent fixtures due to a back injury, so he should be fine to feature in between the sticks this weekend.

Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker can expect to retain their places out wide, but Nathan Ake and John Stones will hope to demote Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte to the bench.

A strong midfield could also see Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva both feature alongside Fernandinho, with Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne perhaps being kept in reserve.

Mahrez will likely take his spot on the right flank following his AFCON return, while Jack Grealish and Phil Foden could complete the lineup as Jesus is spared.

Man City possible starting lineup: Steffen; Walker, Stones, Ake, Cancelo; Gundogan, Fernandinho, Silva; Mahrez, Foden, Grealish
