Liverpool eye summer move for Danny Rose?

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants to add Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose to his squad in the summer, according to a report.

The England Under-21 international has been on loan at Sunderland this season and has produced some quality displays despite the Black Cats' struggles.

These performances have impressed Rodgers and he is prepared to spend a sizable part of his summer transfer budget on the 22-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Liverpool may need to offload players such as Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jose Enrique before a deal for Rose can be struck.
