Ajax 'put £27m price tag on Liverpool-linked defender Perr Schuurs'

Ajax have reportedly informed any clubs interested in signing Perr Schuurs that the bidding starts at €30m (£26.83m).

Schuurs has been labelled the next Matthijs de Ligt after breaking into Ajax's first team last season at the age of just 19.

The Dutch defender has been linked with a move to Liverpool, who are in desperate need of a new centre-back, as well as Italian giants Inter Milan and AC Milan.

According to reports from Italy, however, Ajax have no immediate plans to sell Schuurs and it will take a big offer to prise him away next year.

Schuurs has spent the past two years with Ajax and has 18 months to run on his contract, which the Dutch champions are looking to extend.
