Inter Milan to rival Liverpool for Ajax defender Perr Schuurs?

Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Ajax defender Perr Schuurs during the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old has made 26 senior outings for the Dutch giants, 10 of which have come since the beginning of the current campaign.

The emergence of the Dutchman has led to interest from Liverpool, who will almost certainly make defensive reinforcements at the turn of the year.

However, according to Calciomercato, the Premier League champions may face stiff competition from Inter.

Although Ajax are against a sale at the midway point of the season, any significant bid will have to be considered due to Schuurs's contract expiring in 2022.

The prospect is said to possess an asking price in the region of £27m.
