Rosenborg comfortably beat Liverpool

Three goals in the first half-hour was enough to give Rosenborg a comfortable victory over Liverpool in the NextGen series this evening.

The hosts took the lead after just six minutes when Morten Strand broke through and made no mistake with his finish.

This lead was doubled eight minutes later as Robin Bjornholm-Jatta netted to make it 2-0 within 15 minutes.

Rosenborg were not done yet, however, and capped off a superb first third of the match with another goal, this time courtesy of the 16-year-old Alexander Sorloth.

Liverpool had no answer to such a strong start as Rosenborg saw the game out to inflict a sixth straight defeat on the Reds.
