Alberto Moreno: 'Confidence is high in Liverpool camp'

Alberto Moreno talks up the confidence in the Liverpool camp ahead of the visit of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Alberto Moreno has talked up the confidence in the Liverpool dressing room ahead of tonight's visit of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds haven't lost in the Premier League since December, and have seen their form over the last couple of months take them up to within five points of the top four in the table.

Victory against Spurs this evening would close the gap on Manchester United to two points, and the Spanish left-back said that the whole squad are enjoying their football at the moment.

He told the club's official website: "It's true we are in a very good moment. We have been achieving better results and it's a shame we couldn't beat Chelsea in the Capital One Cup - but we have to move forward because we have the FA Cup and the Europa League ahead.

"I think the dressing room is very confident at the moment and there is a good feeling - we have to take advantage of this and keep up the form for the forthcoming games."
